Use of Our Site
Information collected from general users
The Site tracks certain information about visits to our Site, such as the number and frequency of visitors to the site and its pages. These statistics are used internally only to improve our site and to use for marketing purposes. The statistics may also be provided to third parties, but the information will not contain personal information nor can it be used to gather such information.
Members’ information collected
The data IACP collects is used to help better serve our members. It is our policy to collect and store only personally identifiable information that our members and applicants knowingly and voluntarily provide.
To gain access to members-only resources and features on our Site, members, applicants and other users may be asked to provide personally identifiable information. This information is submitted knowingly and voluntarily by the user. IACP uses this information to enhance its products and services and distribution of those products and services to its members. This information is also used to support the online directory for networking and to pre-populate registration forms. IACP may also use this information for internal, marketing and strategic planning purposes.
Credit information that you and credit authorizers provide for your application for membership and/or other services will be processed through PayPal. PayPal is a service that securely facilitates online payments. This Site will direct you to a PayPal page where you can use a credit card or PayPal account to submit payments. IACP disclaims any responsibility arising out of the use of PayPal.
Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information within the membership and you should exercise caution when deciding what information to disclose. Although IACP tries to protect your personal information, IACP cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. It is also not the IACP’s responsibility to maintain the secrecy of any passwords you set up and/or any account information you have disclosed.

IACP may disclose personal information when required by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary in order to comply with the law or the legal process.
